It will not be called “Cabin Fever” as has been speculated for months, but instead, the new album from Pittsburgh star Wiz Khalifa will be called “Deal or No Deal.” “Cabin Fever” was one of many working titles Wiz had for his ablum, but the one he’s decided on seems most fitting.
The title stems from Wiz’ status as an unsigned agent – he’s had ‘no deal’ since parting ways with Warner Bros. earlier this year. However, deal or no deal, the kid Wiz will release the 15 track album with Rostrum Records, Taylor Gang and iHipHop on November 24th. And how bout that cover?!
He’s been stirring up some buzz with a few leaked tracks here and there, all of which are worth a listen…
Most recently leaked is “This Plane,” a fire track which probably won’t have the album plug at the end if it makes the LP cut.
“Air Born” is over a classic Camp Lo beat.
This is a video that was released simultaneously with his album announcement… peep the subliminal shout to BenzAndABackpack at the end of the video!
Here’s another single that came out week or two ago “Ode to Naked Pop Stars.”
As always with LPs, a lot of tracks are released prematurely for the sake of promoting and hyping, so don’t count on all (or any) of these being on “Deal or No Deal,” but you can bet it will either have Wiz at the top of his game, or simply at his most “pop,” looking for a multi-million dollar deal.
