Benz and a Backpack

Now that J. Cole is blowing up, we figured it was a good idea to re-post this unreleased track that Cole tried to get on HOV’s American Gangster. Roc Nation’s golden boy handled the production for it, with rolling toms that break into a head-nodding, thick hi-hat chorus. Cole spit this verse on the Angela Yee Show several months ago, and we were all impressed at the time by his lyrical prowess.
