Benz and a Backpack

Philly-based duo Chiddy Bang dropped their EP The Preview today. The project is mostly a collection of recently released cuts in the mash-up vein: they utilize Passion Pit’s “Better Things” on “Truth,” and MGMT’s “Kids” on “The Opposite of Adults.” The Preview features production from Pharrell, as well as verses from Q-Tip and Mike Bigga (a.k.a. Killa Mike). The EP is aptly named; it is a ‘preview’ of what listeners should expect from the duo’s first full-length album, tentatively titled The Swelly Life and slated to drop in early 2011. Good for drunken nights at Drexel.
