Drake ft. Lil’ Wayne – Miss Me (Video)

An obligatory post of the visuals for Drake and Wayne’s “Miss Me,” co-produced by Boi-1da and 40. Though it was outsold by Em’s latest drop (Recovery), Thank Me Later did go Platinum this week, and it will surely be in the running for #1 on many of the Top Albums of 2010 lists. Word is, Drizzy’s next video will be for the Swizzy-produced cut “Fancy.” Stay tuned!

Wobble Wobble: Hank Erins Remix of Over

Drake’s Thank Me Later officially drops tomorrow, which means by 2010 standards it’s already ancient.  But what the hell, let’s remix “Over” anyway.  Ready?  Here we go!

Eminem – Not Afraid (First Single Off ‘Recovery’)

Eminem just released the single off his upcoming album “Recovery.” This song was set to be released officially tomorrow but was leaked earlier today.

I personally believe that Eminem’s “Relapse” was one of the worst CD’s released in 2009. This single lets me know that “Recovery” may not illicit the same response from me. Similar to “Beautiful,” Eminem opens up on this track, speaking about his personal life and career.

The song is produced by Boi-1da, who has been holding it down since his premier with Drake on “City Is Mine.” Boi-1da has recently done songs such as “4 My Town” by Birdman feat. Drake and Lil Wayne, “I’m Ill” by Red Cafe feat. Fabolous, “Over” by Drake, “Scared Money” by Young Jeezy, “Forever” and “Best I Ever Had” by Drake, to name just a few.

Mixtape Monday – Vol. 18 – Treehuggin’ X How To Make It In America

We’ve seen a couple collaborations between Snoop and CuDi of late, the most recent of which (“I Do My Thing”) was produced by none other than Dr. Dre. All old school Snoop (and tree) lovers take notice: there’s a new toker in town.

CuDi’s making waves not only in the music world but also in the realm of television. He plays the bottle-popping, easy-going Domingo on HBO’s newest hit series How To Make It In America. CuDi’s character is peripheral (so far), but the show itself taps into hip hop culture in a big way: the two main characters were raised on hip hop in New York City, and now in their late 20′s and with little direction in life they team up to start a denim line called Crisp.

Hit the skip for new CuDi X Snoop, plus a full Mixtape Monday stuffed with goodies from all over the industry (including the very first single off Drake’s upcoming official album AND the first four episodes of How To Make It In America!).
