Gotta love seeing an old school Patrick Ewing jersey, even though it brings back so many awful last-second, wide-open-layup-down-the-lane memories…either way, “This Is The Life” is the most recent Weekend At Burnie’s joint to get the visual treatment, this time from Phil The God. This is Spitta in his wheelhouse: paper twisting, girls, Jordans, big crowds & money– in short, everything that makes Curren$y’s thee life.

Yesterday Curren$y Spitta dropped “Michael Knight,” the newest single off Pilot Talk 2. Tonight brought visuals for one of the bangers off the original Pilot Talk: “Audio Dope 2.” Although not black and white, the “Audio Dope 2″ video is very much of the Creative Control strain: highly stylized but seemingly organic, conceptually sophisticated, and somehow capable of highlighting the featured artist’s greatest strengths (in this case, Curren$y’s effortlessness is on display). Director Jonah Schwartz employed the classic Spike Lee ‘Double Dolly Shot‘ during Spitta’s appearances in the video, giving the viewer the feeling that Curren$y simply floats down the street– a perfect representation of Spitta’s Jet Life mentality. Pilot Talk 2 is in store November 16th!
